Martin Paulsson, Kulladals BC was a popular winner when he won his first Super Six competition at his home arena Baltiska Hallen after defeating Patrick Backe Göta in the final.
Martin had the upper hand in the final but gave Patrick a chance, Patrick however, made a large "bed post" and Martin could win by 213 to 185.
- It felt good to win my first major victory at home at Baltiska, I'm in good shape and has been in four straight step finals in major competition, says Martin Paulsson.
Another positive element in the Kulladal Super Six competition was that several promising youths showed themselves. Joachim Karlsson Brutus Club (son of Åsa Karlsson) was in the first place until the semi-final which he lost to Patrick Backe. Junior player Mattias Jansson (son of Raymond Jansson) lost his semi-final to the future winner. Joachim and Mattias are among Swedens most promising youths, they will for sure achieve top positions in future Super Six competitions. |
